Computer Information Science

The major program in Computer Information Science implements the curriculum suggested by the Data Processing Management Association. The program includes a substantial selection of business and accounting courses, in addition to the required computer courses. The overall aim of the program is to provide sufficient expertise in both computing and business topics so you can approach information processing with confidence and understanding.

Csc 140, 141, 232, 242, 261, 271, 351, 402, 405, 435, and 1 upper-level
Csc course; Acc 101, 102, and 409; Bus 102, 301, 307, 308, 404, and 407; Mth 153 and 154; Eng 290 and 320; Eco 209 and 210.

Computer Science Minor

18 credit hours of Computer Science courses not including Csc 140 or Csc 150. (There is no distinction between Computer Science and Computer Information Science. The minor will simply be Computer Science.)
